How much of the system RAM is used just to have it on? null

The previous answer isn't helpful. System RAM on the tablet is 6GB and the storage memory is 128GB. System memory is fast memory that is loaded up with the operating system when it first comes on and whatever is left of the 6GB the programs that you open use some of that memory to run the program. This is different than the 128GB memory used to just store files like pictures, games, movies and documents. If the RAM memory is filled up with the operation system then it uses the 128GB to run the programs which makes it slower. I want to know how much the operating system uses of the RAM memory when there are no programs running.

I have quite a few astronomy, MS Office and photography apps and I'm only at 49 of 128GB. I hope that helps you.
