• The watch is fabulous and I am enjoying my ownership. You may wish to have him try it on before purchase (the display model, of course). I have a moderately sized wrist and have my watch fastened at the 4th hole from the end of the strap so I can tuck it in under the fastener. It fits just right for me but a XL fitbit size may not conform to the new band. He will love this watch as long as he has a proper fit.
