I was looking to getting the active 2 watch but my question is can you answer calls from it null

You can't as there is no speaker on the watch. It alerts you of a call and if you press accept it shoots to your phone to start talking. That is also reason that you need Bluetooth headphones if listen to Spotify via watch.

Only if it is paired to your phone and you are using a Bluetooth headset. The Galaxy Watch Active does not have a speaker or LTE built into it like the regular Galaxy Watch so it must be connected to your phone and a headset in order for you to answer calls using the watch.
