Yes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I see you have this question on here twice. At default, the watch tracks your activity level with very basic information. If I go outside and just start walking, after 10 minutes it'll buzz and use a basic/automatic tracking app to register that activity and record my active time and distance walked. If I go outside with the intention of getting exercise, I can turn on the manual built-in activity tracker, and it'll track pretty much everything: heart rate, distance, time, pace, calories burned(calculated based on the personal information you provide Samsung Health). I find that the built-in app tracks all the information I'm concerned with, but you can try to use a different fitness app with the watch, just be aware that not all of them play nice. I used MapMyRun on my previous smartwatch, the Galaxy Fit 2 Pro, since it was better than the built-in fitness tracker on that device. However, MayMyRun won't even load properly on the Galaxy Watch Active, yielding an error claiming no bluetooth connection. That might just be my watch in particular, or it might be an issue with the app. I don't know for sure. Everything else works fine, and the watch definitely has a bluetooth connection to my phone. In any case, I hope this information helps.
