Will this watch work with a Motorola Moto z4 phone? Will I be able to receive and respond to text messages and receive, answer and make calls on this watch? null

You can receive and answer text messages. When you receive a call it will notify you but when you answer it on your watch it will initiate the call on your phone. You cannot talk on it. You can with the Galaxy Watch as well as the Gear S2 and S3.

I've had Gear Fit2 and Galaxy watches for a while and they worked well with my Motorola Turbo Maxx phone. I recently changed to a newer Moto Z4 phone and find that The watches still connect and show phone calls. I can even answer calls on my Galaxy, but text messages do not show on the watches. I keep watching for software updates to correct that problem as it's one of the main reasons I went to smart watches.
