You can use 2 watches. I use the Samsung as a smartwatch and sometimes use my Garmin Vivoactive for golf and bike riding. These two watches don't talk to each other but you can workaround this. I use Endomondo with the Samsung and then Endomondo can talk to Garmin Connect to display activity results on Garmin Connect.
