Yes you can listen to music downloaded onto this device. Use the app (not very good) to move between songs. .... A line is NOT required for the watch unless you purchase the LTE version, which I understand is only good for Verizon, though some users with T-Mobile have been able to activate it there. .... Even if you choose to buy the LTE verizon, however, you can always use the device in bluetooth mode only.

Nessie yes you can and you can actually add whatever you use as far as music to your quick menu. I added my spotify and I can listen to music in my watch and it sounds great as well. As well as my phone calls when I answer and I connect it thru Bluetooth to my phone and even gave it a device name it connects automatically to my phone.
