Don't quote me on this, but I do believe there will be carrier specified devices. I'm not really sure if they've been released yet, I know that it is advertised on Samsung's website and when purchasing from their website the option for Sprint, Verizon, T-Mobile and AT&T are there but classified as unavailable at the moment. I also think if you surf Best buy you'll find some carrier specific devices as well, although I do think they aren't shipping quite yet. Initially I bought a Sprint Galaxy Watch active 2, but quickly returned it to purchase the unlocked variant after I discovered the shipping would be overnight as I was still waiting for an expected ship date for the Sprint exclusive device.
