• The Gear Fit 2 works fine with my Galaxy S8.... It should work with future versions of Android as well

• Yes, it is compatible with newer versions of Samsung, I currently have a Samsung Galaxy S8+ and it works perfectly. When I first bought the FitBit Charge 2 I had a Galaxy Note 5.
