I have gone swimming in pools and ocean with it, showers, dishes etc no issue

In the water for 30 minutes up to 5 feet. I have anxiety attacks in the shower due to a massive pulmonary embolism and need the heart tracker to help ease the attacks. Shower is good. Swimming is limited. I would take it swimming only if I had the 2yr protection plan.

It is not meant for swimming. Water resistant means if you get it wet a little it won't hurt it. Ie: while washing hands, walking in the rain, etc

No, the tracker cannot be used swimming.  It is water resistant as it can withstand sweat and small water particles but it cannot be submerged.
