My Fitbit is pretty durable, I wear it all day everyday, and typically have between 8000-10000 steps. This includes laundry, dishes, General housework, teaching part time, working out, and walking the dog! It holds up, but be sure to take it off from time to time and wash the inside of the band with a wipe.
