• no noise canceling, but they do reduce outside noise since the seal around your ear canal

• Yes to noise cancelling and yes to outside world. Have not been on plane yet with them to say yay or ney but based on experience at this time I fill that plane noise would be cancelled out as well. At this time all pros no cons. Would recommend to anyone.
