No.. you there are 2 version. One regular and 3G. The different 3G allows you to make and receive calls.. but everything else is the same

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was able to operate my watch with a BLU Android phone and I currently use it with the old Samsung Galaxy 4s. The watch can be synced to work with most phones running Android (watch indicates a certain update), but it works best with Samsung devices. The phone and text features will only work with a synced device that has an active number, but just internet options will work without a phone number. I hope this helps some as I have only had for less than a month
