• You can set up notifications from my fitness pal, but there's is no MFP app that works directly on the gear. They could be in the process of making an app, but who knows.

• No it will only sync with smartphones running Android Version 4.4 and above

• No, samsung has a few alternatives plus its own s health. Very proprietary about that!
