the watch as packaged comes with the charging base. My frontier also came with a smaller strap (not sure if the classic does but I would think so?). This is independent of the pre-order (e.g. the watch is packaged regardless of when you bought it.. of course that would be different if a retailer subsequently packages the watch with another item under a promotion).
