It's a Wi-Fi model. So it will work with any compatible device. Only LTE model would come in international model (If available).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Well after an hour of live chat with Samsung they confirmed this watch is NOT WiFi and it is only Bluetooth. Also it will not allow me to make or receive calls unless it is a carrier issued model which is activated with an electronic IMEI number. Carriers charge for this activation which is not something I’m willing to pay for because I only want a watch that can make and receive calls via Bluetooth via my phone when it’s in my pocket. An Apple Watch is the only one that seems to be able to perform this function and this is verified by my long Q&A session with the authority at Samsung. Based on this information I’m not buying this Gear S3.

This watch is only Bluetooth and does not support WiFi, only your phone itself supports the WiFi so this watch communicates to the phone via Bluetooth. Without a companion phone this watch has NO way to connect to a WiFi network or Bluetooth.
