• No, you cannot use this with any tv. You will need either a bluetooth capable tv or an optical connection. More importantly, without HDMI ARC, you will not be able to use the tv remote to control volume. Even if you have a samsung tv, from what I've read, you got a 50/50 chance of syncing the soundbar to the tv... I returned mine even though it does have excellent sound! :)

• Hi! The HW-A450 will be compatible with TVs that support Digital Optical audio or Bluetooth wireless audio technology. The TV does not need to be a Samsung. ^Tim
