“I pickup and set up the Samsung HW-A450 sound bar can some one tell me does the remote run on batteries what size and how to insert the batteries ? The directions failed to explain.”

Hi Muddog7682, Slide the back cover in the direction of the arrow until it is completely removed. Insert 2 AA batteries (1.5V) oriented so that their polarity is correct. Slide the back cover back into position. if you shine a light where the batteries go you will see how to line up the + and - of each battery. ^Andrew
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.AAA batteries the smallest size. The set comes with a battery. Its inserted at the back of the remote. Slide it down by pushing on it. Maybe the battery is already inserted but usually in a wrong direction and you will need to reinsert it the right way. Hope this helps.
