“WE have a Samsung 65" TV. I need hearing assistance and purchased a set of headphones Skulllcandy Crusher ANC 2. When I use the headphones the TV audio is turned off and my wife can't hear the audio while watching togeth. Would this soundbar solve this?”

Hello dimi, Depending on your Samsung TV's model you can try going to all settings → General → Accessibility → Multi-output Audio. From here you can have audio to play from your soundbar and your headphones. ~ Samsung Solutions

However most likely not due to the TV only having the option to play out of the TV speakers and the sound bar when the sound bar is connected to the TV using the HDMI port. No options to play out of headphones and TV speakers at the same time.
