When I attempt to lower the volume it only MUTEs the sound. Even if I press the Woofer button it mutes. What am I doing wrong? null

You are pressing down on the left side control for volume. Rather than pressing on it, flick the volume down and the volume will go down, pressing on the button will result in muting. Flicking it up will increase the volume. Consider that control as a 3 way switch

Hello CocoMom,

When you are using the soundbar remote, the VOLUME and WOOFER buttons rock forwards and backwards. If you press IN on the volume button it will mute the sound. If you press IN on the woofer button it will set the bass levels to default.

You will need to push up or pull down on the volume button to change the volume.
