I'm sorry, but your answer may still apply! I have the HW-B650 model. My TV is Samsung QN800 QLED 8K. There is a setup in the sound section of my TV to enable ATMOS or disable it. When this switch is off, my subwoofer base goes silent. I still don't have enough info to understand ATMOS, Will I be able to detect ATMOS,with HW-B650 soundbar?

You will need to make sure that the content you are watching will also be in 4K and have Dolby Atmos audio format available. Depending on your TV you may have to enable different settings for Dolby Atmos to work, please refer to your TV user manual for more information. ~Samsung Solutions
