• I would assume so. However mine works on a peace of vintage furniture very well.

• Hi AC, Using the fixed wall mount that the Soundbar comes with, you can mount it above the television, but it is not recommended. You will want to have the Soundbar placed in such a way that it projects the audio at near eye level so you will be able to clearly enjoy audio from your content. ~Samsung Solutions
