The standard engineering ratio for a safe lifting/support factor is 3:1 or higher, so the safe rating for a 4.5 lb speaker is a "minimum" of 3 times the item's weight, or 13.5 lbs, plus the weight of the mounting bracket itself. Some companies use a higher ratio (multiple) for an additional margin of safety.

The Soundbar itself weighs roughly 18lbs, so you plan to ever mount the bar, then you'll need to find a mounting bracket that can hold that amount. ~Samsung Solutions
