We have the same type ceiling and the sound is amazing. I needed pros to install because we have an LG tv and I wanted to make sure we have all the features the system offers. Should be much easier to set up for you though having both Samsung.

The HW-Q930C Soundbar does have the ability to adapt to the room conditions using SpaceFit Sound. This feature will help calibrate your Soundbar to the room size and shape for optimal sound. Using your current TV, you will not be able to take advantage of Dolby Atmos over Wi-FI. ~Samsung Solutions

The small speakers I don’t hear them at all or something wrong with them or possibly the way I put them. I don’t know.
