My grandmother before she died was a registered nurse. Before she died, she had a grave concern over headphones because she said a lot of health problems would pop up because we weren't supposed to have them in 24/7. Try using them less.

Its not the buds. Is were the sensor (metal) touches the ear

Have had similar experiances. Changed the size of plug and adjusted how it sits in my ear. Seemed to help but have not worn them for extended periods lately.
