• Yes but when you get the LTE you wont have to worry about that.

• Not on the LTE model if the service is turned on thru your provider. If the LTE is not turned on you will me to be within a certain range

• If connected via Bluetooth then yes, if you have the LTE model then no since it will use cellular service to get that info.
