I have consumer cellular for my carrier for my phone will the Samsung 6 classic work with it and will I need to purchase a plan for the lte to be able to make and receive calls/text if phone left at home. How far away from phone will watch work for calls null

The advertised Galaxy Watch6 Classic is a Bluetooth version that will require for your paired smartphone to be within a close proximity of your watch in order to be fully functional. If you were wanting to be able to leave your smartphone at home and be able to still receive your calls and messages on your watch, you will want to look for an LTE version of this watch. LTE versions are able to make and receive calls directly from the watch as well as send and receive messages in the absence of their paired smartphones. It's not tied to any carrier, it will work. You also need to go into Wearable app and set up mobile plan after purchasing a plan before you can use it without your phone.
