This Samsung storm wash dishwasher doesn't have a cal rod heater on the bottom of the open space like the cheaper models have ( and my old Kenmore had). So, it dries by heating the water real hot and only seems to dry by popping open and have a little fan blow the vapor into the room. It may leave some water in there that may get stale, but we don't smell ours as we use it every other day.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Use the sanitize feature and always use a rinse aid (fill it up). Then the dishes should be dry at the end of the cycle.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We've had this dishwasher less then a month and used it like 4 times . Each time we have used it the dishes have been completely dry and no smell . The door pops open aprox 1/2 hour before the finish of the cycle but that's to let the steam out and finish the drying cycle
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This dishwasher actually pops open when it's done. So the door is open about 6 inches to allow the dishes to dry more instead of sitting inside a closed unit. My favorite feature about this thing!
