• It needs to be hard wired, very easy to do yourself.

• Most stores sell dishwasher install kits that come with the electric cord and also the stress reducer piece. I actually just took those items off of my old dishwasher and reused them on this one.

• The unit does not come with the power cord or the water line , these do need to be bought additional you can pick up the kit needed at any appliance store

• The dishwasher comes with a power cord it does not come with a water hose that needs to be purchased separately for $20
