• It works with regular BluRay movies also. Sounds great when we watch our 4K discs. Have not yet tried a regular Blue Ray though

• I am using a JBL sound bar. I replaced a SONY surround sound system. The sound quality was different, a little tinny. I recognized this with a new 4K BLU-RAY. I am not sure if the quality of the audio will be enhanced with a better sound system. I have got used to the sound bar now and my old ears are okay with it but I know the sound would be better with a SONOS or higher brand. I love the SONOS brand quality but not worth the cost to be better. I wish you the best in your endeavor.
