“I just bought this player. We still have dvd’s and the box said this was backwards compatible. All of our Blu-rays work but not regular dvds. Is there something I can try to fix this?(Our dvds work on other blue ray players)”

We bought this player too and haven't had any problems with playing regular (older) DVDs.
