What is max size USB flash drive can be used in Samsung 8500 blue ray

On page 56 I see inly standard disclaimers. Sony CS replied 6TB max support on UHPH1 and UBP-W800 bluray players. My old BDP-S7200 tops out at 2TB. I bought a 4TB 2.5" external HDD and upgraded 4K bluray player must support it. I called Samsung CS and was told take my drive to a local retailer tu plug in and see if it works. I dont think anyone at Samsung knows the answer other than the engineers which i cant reach directly. Mr.Samsung can you ask them for me? Thx
