- Answer The 2020 and 2021 models of SWA 9500S is for the Q series HW-950A, HW-900A, HW-800A, and the HW-700A only. I have them connected to the HW-700A and the connected easy and work great. The instructions stated only these 4 sound bars for connection. The SWA 9100S is compatible with 2000 ans 2021 sound bars Q600A, A650, A550, A450, S60A, A61S, S50A, A55C, A60M, A45C, A50M, A40M, Q900T, Q800T, Q70T, and S60T only and would not connect to my HW-700A.

- Answer It’s Samsung! Trust that they got it right. Facing your television, place the left speaker to your left and the right speaker to your right. Easy connection. Great surround sound!

- Answer I had trouble getting my left speaker to pair. You have to re-initialize/reset to factory settings your Soundbar then restart the pairing process anew. That's what worked for me.

QuestionGood evening, I wanted to find out if the 9500 is now compatible with the N850 sound bar. I messaged a Samsung rep tonight on the Samsung web page and the rep said yes it is but I am still seeing reviews that say no. Thanks for the help.

- Answer Hi Yankeesfan! The SWA-9500S is only compatible with the following 2021 Samsung soundbars: HW-Q900A, HW-Q800A, HW-Q700A. These rear speakers are not designed to connect to the HW-N850 soundbar. ^Tim

- Answer Depends on whether your soundbar is a "T" or "A" Series Soundbar. T = Incompatible (2020) A = Compatible (2021) Hope this helps.

QuestionWhich is a better mounting location 1-behind sofa but speakers will be very close to our heads (14") since sofa is tight to wall and cant move. 2-approx 4ft left and right of the sofa and will be positioned slightly in front of us.

- Answer Behind you and close. These rears only work with Atmos tracks. In other words, if there's no Atmos track, nothing much soundwise comes out of these rears. They are pretty quiet when not transmitting full Atmos. However, when Atmos is present, Holy Moly!! You want these right behind you and close. They are truly immersive!

QuestionI have a HW-Q850A sound bar package which includes the SWA-9100S rear speaker kit. The sounbar indicates a June 2021 date of manufacture. Are the SWA- 9500S speakers compatible with the soundbar? Thanks Roger

- Answer Yes 9500S compatible with Q700A/Q800A/Q900A series. These rear speakers are also sell as individual items so it might have different mfgr date than the main unit.

- Answer These aren't compatible with the "T" Series soundbars from 2020. They are only compatible with the "A" Series soundbars from 2021.

QuestionI see the power cords are about 5 feet long. Are longer power cords available? 5 foot might be a little short.

- Answer Yes I think so too. I just use an extension cable. Or you can just find the longer cable with the right connnector. Search "2 prong power cord" in Amazon and should find lots of longer cable for TV and AV systems (non-polarized).

- Answer The SWA 9100S is compatible with 2000 ans 2021 sound bars Q600A, A650, A550, A450, S60A, A61S, S50A, A55C, A60M, A45C, A50M, A40M, Q900T, Q800T, Q70T, and S60T only and would not connect to my HW-700A.

- Answer Hi! Each rear speaker included with the SWA-9500S will have a power cable that will need to be connected to a nearby outlet. Once powered, the speakers will wirelessly connect to a compatible 2021 Q Series soundbar from Samsung, no additional cables or transmitter modules required. ^Tim

- Answer Hi Ram! The SWA-9500S is only compatible with select 2021 Samsung soundbars and is not backwards compatible with the HW-Q70R. This is the first generation of Samsung rear speaker kits to support Dolby Atmos. ^Tim
