• Extreme is a little slower on the speeds 50 mb/s compared to almost 90 for the plus

• Extreme is (read/write) 60Mbs/40Mbs, Extreme Plus is 80/50. So you'll have ~20% faster read/write speeds with the Extreme Plus.

• Write and read speeds. It will take you less time to down load a file the an extreme card than to and ultra. For picture taken I will definitely recommend the extreme.

• As title says, it is all about Speed. Extreme Plus: Up to 80MB/s read speed and up to 50MB/s write speed Extreme: Up to 60MB/s read speed and up to 40MB/s write speed

• I got it for my go Pro camera that I purchased at Best Buy the extreme will give you more speed and more versatility as far as your settings even into 4K
