“The SanDisk extreme V2 SSD cannot be seen and networked by routers. In the past many other SanDisk products have been seen and networked by routers. Is there any way to restore that capability in those drives? It does not appear to be a power issue...”

What router, what computer, what format did you use? Might require additional software. With pc it’s ntsf formatted. Wonder if it’s an solid state issue. Was able to use 2 routers (one from spectrum and an apple airport extreme (connected to lan port of spectrum modem) and was able to have a flash drive read by both pc & mac (drive is mac os formatted and i used a software to read mac os extended) as a network drive.
