I don’t bother with a case. The drive is rugged enough alone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.1 reason is keeping this SSD clean, a clean SSD operates at a cooler temperature than a dirty one. 2nd reason, protects port and cable when you have it in a case.

According to Best Buy, this is 0.4 inches thick and the case is 1.58 inches thick (that would be exterior dimension, so subtract a little for the thickness of the case multiplied by 2), therefore 4 wouldn't fit comfortably but you might be able to force it.
