I have never used a thumb flash drive, so. When storing photo, onto a 128 gig and you only put say 80 gig on it can you go back and add another amount later without losing the previous picture . null

Yes, think of it as another folder on your desktop. A folder that you can put a maximum of 128GB of stuff into. you can add and remove items to it just like you would a folder.
