No problems, works
||Posted .I bought this 128 GB USB 3 flash drive to store real time video from my Arlo Pro 2 cameras, 4 of them. It plugs into the Arlo Base Station. Even if the internet goes down, video is being recorded when motion is detected. I can then retrieve past events by ejection the the drive and plugging it into my iMac to review. Works great, I recommend it.

SanDisk Ultra Flash Drive worked as expected
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.I purchased the flash drive to expand memory on Fire Stick 4K. This drive worked without any problem, where another brand flash drive would not setup correctly. The SanDisk has been in use for about a month and worked flawlessly. I have now setup three Fire Stick 4K’s and all have worked as expected.

Big in More Ways than One
||Posted .I'm pretty amazed at how much storage they're putting on these things now, and how the cost has come down. This is fast enough for sharing 30GB database dumps at work. I keep my mongo database on here and run it from the flash drive. The problem I have with it is the physical size. The case is rather wide, to the point that when I have it plugged into the macbook, I can't plug anything into the other USB port. I solved this problem by filing it down on the sides.

Excellent
||Posted .The drive is very fast with reading and writing. The construction seems sturdy enough, though it doesn't compare to an all metal case. Overall a great product that I snagged for only $15! Very pleased

very Difficult to set up.
||Posted .I still have not figured out how to set up this storage device. Because it has some kind of secure access I just wanted to plug it in and put stuff on it but apparently it doesn't quite work that way. That's why it only got three stars because I bought it at least 2 to 3 weeks ago and I still have been able to use it.

Q: QuestionWhy is it only 118 GB instead of 128gb like it says? The other programs are small
Asked by pchop.
- A:Answer Because there are two definitions for GB. The binary definition is 1,024 x 1,024 x 1,024 = 1,073,741,824 and that is the one used by Windows to report disk size. Storage system manufacturer, however, took the liberty to define GB as 1 billion bytes. The difference between the two is 7.3%, so 128 GB (disk) = 119.2 GB (binary). Then you must take into account the fact that Windows reports formatted capacity, while storage manufacturers reports unformatted size, resulting in the difference that you noticed. The same applies to your hard drive, too.

Q: QuestionHow many songs can a 128 gb hold
Asked by Michael.
- A:Answer it really varies depending on the size of each individual song but it can hold up to anything from 16,000-22,000 songs. I'm pretty sure thats more than enough hahaha, hope this helps!

Q: QuestionIs the ULTRA 128 useable with 2.0 drive?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer I believe that you are asking if the SanDisk Ultra 128GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive is compatible with a 2.0 USB port on a computer. If so, the answer is yes. It works faster on a 3.0 USB port, but will work just fine on a 2.0 or even 1.0 port. I copied about 90GB of mostly music via a 2.0 USB port onto my SanDisk Ultra 128GB 3.0 Flash Drive in four hours.

Q: QuestionI am transferring videos (WMV file) on a SanDisk 128GB 3.0 flashdrive. Videos with size 3,37 GB and under works OK. For the bigger size videos from 4GB to 8GB, I receive a window saying that the file is too large to be transferred, while the USB is empty?
Asked by Ginette.
- A:Answer That is usually due your flash drive being formatted with the FAT32 file system, which has a limit of 4GB for each individual file. To fix this you can replace the FAT32 file system on the flash drive with NTFS, which does not have the 4GB limit. To do that, make sure the flash drive does not have any data that you need, then right click on it, select Format and choose NTFS. You can check the box next to the Quick Format option and it should only take a minute or two. After that is done, you should be able to move files that are larger than 4GB to your flash drive.

Q: Questionmy original 128gb sandisk flash drive burned out and i lost all data. i was wondering if this one (the ultra model) is much more durable hopefully? would you guys know if this one wont burn out as easily thus rendering all my data useless?
Asked by Damion.
- A:Answer Everyone knows better than to put any data that is important in just one place. Always back up your important files. Extra memory is cheap. I have never had a drive like this fail but any piece of equipment can fail at any time regardless of price or perceived quality. In my opinion USB flash dives (no moving parts) can be even more reliable than a physical hard drive. You can't beat the price of this kind of memory. Buy two then you'll never lose any data. BACK IT UP! Nothing is perfect
