• You will need a 3.5" drive to to 2.5" drive cage adapter or white 3M sticky tape from your local walmart to mount it.

• My best advice is to go directly to the manufacturer site for your computer and use the online customer service chat board. They can best answer what hard drive is acceptable as a replacement part. HP is pretty user friendly.
