• I took a picture of my SSD with my iPhone 11, sent it by email and copied it from email to phone. Perhaps that's the long way around, but it works for me.

• Hi, please be informed that we have not tested using our external SSD Drives by connecting them to iPhones using the lightning port. In order to know how to do the same if possible, it would be best to contact Apple Customer Support.
