• Yes it would. In fact, that is why I bought it. But instead of replacing it, this drive was added to my laptop as a Drive D:. That meant no need to replace programs! And it was four times larger than my Drive C:. All I needed to do was move data from C Drive to D Drive and kept all programs as originally installed. I recommend doing that if it is possible with your computer. This is a very compact drive and fit in my computer with a simple install by Geek Squad. I recommend it highly.
