This drive has a useable capacity lower than 64Gb because the drive reserves some amount of space as a caching area so that files transfer fast. the more files you put onto an ssd the slower it gets so that extra cache is there to make sure the drive works. if you need to store a 64.5 Gb file you will need a 80 or 128Gb drive as those are the next sizes up with 80Gb drives being rare. I think the useable space on this drive is somewhere around 59Gb.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The actual usable size is smaller than 64 gb. The disc comes with a few small text and ex files. Even if you reformat it and wipe it, you end up with about 62 gb.
