The answer is in the specifications and description of the two devices you are talking about. But if we are discussing the same devices as I think, the black one is plastic and the other is metal. I recently purchase the plastic one and it is working great but if you feel you need the extra durability of the metal case, get the other one. But don't take my word for it, read the specs to be sure you are getting the one you want.
