Hi, please be informed that you cannot directly connect this USB Drive to your Samsung Galaxy S7 mobile phone's USB Port as the phone has a micro-USB port whereas this USB Drive has a USB Type-C/ A connectors. Therefore, you can either use a microUSB to USB Type-A/ C Adapter to connect this USB Drive to this phone or you can get the SanDisk m3.0 Dual Drive USB Flash Drive which has a micro-USB connector that can be directly plugged in to a Samsung Galaxy S7 mobile phone.
