“What is the maximum real world transfer speed of this flash drive? Does it differ based on the type of port I attach it to? USB 3.0 vs the connectors on the flash drive itself? I did not see this in the product description. Does it overheat in use?”

It's fast! I was surprised how fast it transferred data. That was with the USB side so I would imagine the USB C would be even better. Not over heating that I have experienced.
