• It's a 256 GB drive. After installation my computer shows 233 GB of usable space.

• Did you try reformatting the drive? My drive formats to 256GB and is currently holding 155GB. If not, I'd return it. One thing that I try is doing a "non-quick" format to determine the capacity. I had some SD drives that I got from a foreign country that were "fake" and actually less than their capacity.

• This is a 256gb drive. I would return to store and they will fix the problem
