“I want to take the TV off the mount to connect another HDMI cable because the TV is too tight to the wall to connect it while mounted. I am not sure how to disengage the TV from the mount can you please point me in the right direction? Thanks!”

I just pulled the string on the bottom of unit. Then was able to pull it out enough to hook up. Might want a friend to help.

Please try again later.Hi JohnC, If you still have the installation manual handy, you will see that you need to pull down and hold the release cords on either side and gently pull away from the wall. The TV will then be able to be lifted off the wall plate. Make sure all your cables have been disconnected! Also, feel free to call us at 800-359-5520.
