“I have a four year-old Sony 55” 4K will this work, also the plug will be behind the TV on the wall so when it’s plugged in it will need enough space.”

Hi Hank, This mount should be compatible with your TV. Also, the mount holds the TV .67" off the wall. It also includes a click stand to help provide easy access to your cables behind the TV. Thanks, Haydn @ SANUS
