“I want to put my 65" Samsung SUHD above my fireplace. My studfinder says studs are 31 inches apart. The width of this product says its 30.5 inches wide. Im wondering if Ican make this product work”

If you cant find a mount that extends as far as you need to, what you can do is mount a long piece of wood from stud to stud, paint it to match your walls, then mount the tv wall mount to block of wood you just mounted :) This method adds some depth overall but if your in a pinch it will work. You could just buy a mount for a larger TV as long as the width doesnt exceed the width of your actual tv. -R
