Probably. I had to take a few pieces off after applying them and it did take a little paint off. In the future, I would probably use a hair dryer or something similar before peeling them off of the walls.

Once installed it is pretty hard to remove. It may mar the paint, but shouldn't do more damage than that.

I have had no issues with it messing up the walls. Changed out a few on several different colors with no issues.

It is a rather strong sticky tac. Once you put it on it wont be coming off and back on too well. However, it shouldnt do any paint damage.

It shouldn't - in fact my issue is getting it to stay on the wall. I finally gave up and fastened it with wall screws.

They can definitely cause damage when removed. If you already have them, and need to remove them; try gently using a small paint-scraper with a little rubbing alcohol between the adhesive and the wall.
